She actively volunteers for several nonprofit organizations in the Tri Valley.
Ivor Nanton Clorox, Director – Global Internal Audit
Ivor Nanton is the Director, Global Internal Audit for The Clorox Company. He is responsible for assisting the Senior Management team and Audit Committee in identifying, assessing, and managing risk across the organization. He has worked at Clorox for over 8 years. Ivor is a CPA with over 17 years of experience working with business partners across the globe to identify solutions to eliminate or limit risk exposure within organizations.
Ivor began his career with General American Transportation (GATX) in Chicago after graduating with a B.S. Accounting from the University of Illinois – Chicago. He worked in the Internal Audit group in Chicago before being transferred to the San Francisco office in 2003. His roles included management of risk in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Ivor also guided Sarbanes Oxley efforts for the San Francisco and European offices.
As a result of his transition from his native home of Chicago to the Bay Area in 2003, he became actively involved with his new community. Ivor served as President of the San Francisco chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) and Chairman of the Accounting Career Awareness Program Board (ACAP); member of the Finance Committee for the Museum of African Diaspora.
Ivor has also served as Co-chair for key programs at Clorox, including Advancement and Development Committee for the African American Employee Resource Group; Getting Involved for Tomorrow (GIFT) giving program.
